Jordi Galí invites us to contemplate. What is the balance, rawness, the confrontation of time, subject and body? The Spanish dancer explores the relationship between body and objects, be it a timber, stone, stepladder or a car tire. He is interested in space where dance overlaps with artistry and you can assemble an original stage architecture made of simple items, the space where even the items can dance. The dancer employs balance, opposing forces and dynamic relationship of various materials which all help him explore movement and time. Accompanying sound with a touch of “DIY aesthetic” is provided by ingeniously assembled bicycles.
