How can dance help in learning and teaching processes? Can you imagine multiplication skills as the object of choreography? Movement used to consolidate knowledge of the “listed words in Czech” where the “ambiguous” consonants are followed by “y”? The results of the work of children from five elementary schools not only from Žďár nad Sázavou, but also from Jihlava or Lhotek u Velkého Meziříčí, led by professional teaching choreographers Bára Látalová, Zdenka Svíteková, Marty Trpišovská, Jana Bitterová and Jan Bárta. Dance in Schools project combines the Play and Learn concept with movement and development of creative thinking in education process. It leads children to understand and create art through experience and leads them to connect with their own talents. The Dance in Schools project contributes to the development of education in the Czech Republic and its participants, traditionally, have their place in the accompanying program of the festival.
