Carefully crafted to the last detail, SaPrésenceis an atmospheric choreography in black and white that transports the audience into another world: the world of birds.
In her original solo, inspired by the work of photographer Masahisa Fukase, dancer Agáta Jarošová transforms completely into a raven. Jarošová was inspired by the loneliness, menace and frailty that she found in "The Solitude of Ravens”, a dark series of photographs by Fukase. Sa Presence brings the spectator into an intimate encounter with the world of these photos, as Jarošova’s bird-body is utterly absorbing. An image behind an image, an interpretation behind an interpretation. One raven, then another, this time different… Curves, shapes, a black and white surface. Emotions. Our world? The world of these beings.
This performance contains female nudity.
