Let yourself be surprised by dance-inspired interventions in various corners of Žďár nad Sázavou as four distinctive artists - choreographers, dancers, contemporary circus performers and visual artists - bring their creations to the streets. Their work will emerge like the bubbles in a glass of champagne and disappear just as quickly. Enjoy a Žďár sparkling with joy.

Performances in the city are conceived as genuine surprises. No one knows when and where the artists will appear, so keep your eyes open.

Tilde Knudsen (DK) is an actress, performer, experimental artist and set designer. Since 2003, she has been a member of the company Asterions Has, serving as its artistic director since 2017. She has performed with the company in many countries and languages. Her company is characterised by highly physical and experimental interpretations of the great classic stories of Homer, Shakespeare, Carroll, etc.

Markéta Stránská (CZ) approaches her work not just as a choreographer and dancer, but also as a puppeteer, performer and, last but not least, clown. Her successful debut performance FLY! and a new project …Or to Be, a duet with French choreographer Jean Gaudin, have caught the attention of audiences.

Benjamin Richter (DE) has been juggling, dancing, performing and teaching professionally since 1991. His practice oscillates between contemporary circus, live art and abstract performance. He has toured the world with solo and ensemble projects and studied countless styles of movement, dance and theatre. His personal artistic research is concerned with the human, physical expression of object-orientated ontology.

Roman Zotov-Mikshin (RU/CZ) studied at Prague’s Duncan Centre and has worked with Nadar Rosano, Sue Schroeder, Maxim Diděnko, Lenka Flory, Michal Záhora, Mirka Eliášová, Jana Bitterová and many other artists. He co-founded the company Ferst Dadler & Co. He has taught improvisation, composition and other dance-related subjects at the Duncan Centre. In 2015, he received the Jarmila Jeřábková award.
