Can dance help teach multiplication tables or English vocabulary? How might choreography support the teaching of geography? How can teachers incorporate movement into the general curriculum? SE.S.TA has run the School is Dancing project in various schools throughout the Czech Republic for many years. In 2020, a number of schools managed to enliven their online education with this project, getting kids moving in front of their computer screens and then supporting their return to in-person learning in the spring. Join us for a short demonstration and see how a choreographer can work with children on topics from school subjects. Thepresentation of a small performance created by the children under the leadership of experienced teachers will follow.
The program will take place even in unfavorable weather, in the case of rain, outdoor production will be moved in. Capacity of inner space of the castle is limited, we recommend arriving early enough. Outdoors are unlimited.
