In an intimate performance, Alta Gama strives to discover and incarnate a relationship to their own bodies. In the spaces of a cable factory, they have only a bicycle to help them.
Through its seeming simplicity, the performance guides audiences through the complex process of self-acceptance. The theme is our social presence, us performers and you spectators. The object is the body. The journey of three bodies (a woman, a man and a bike) and their revelations, leading to the most essential of all: the body itself. These are the bodies we live and we have a relationship with them. Do you find it a pleasant relationship, or would you change it?

Alta Gama was founded by Alejo Gamboa and Amanda Delgado, who met in Barcelona in 2015. Based in Chambéry, France, Alta Gama works at the intersection of circus, theatre and music. Placing the spectator experience at the centre of their work, they develop cultural mediations around their performances. In 2016, they created Adoro, a circus duet with aspects of clowning. Pushing and playing with boundaries is key to their work, as seen in Mentir lo Mínimo (2021), Mentir lo Mínimo Under the Dome (2024) and Winning is for Losers (2027).
