What better way to kick off the KoresponDance festival in Žďár than with Japanese percussion?
Artists coming from Japan and Prague will bring beautiful Japanese percussions which will make Náměstí republiky in Žďár dance. Let yourself be carried away with the catchy rhythms full of delicacy and power. A dynamic performance under the leadership of the prominent Japanese guest Mihoko Umemura will be presented that day. Come and experience this magical early evening, which will get you in the mood for the entirety of the festival!

Ume (Mihoko Umemura) is a Japanese drummer who began her artistic career in 1997 in Osaka. She later moved to Tokyo and embarked on a solo career. She has collaborated with musicians from various genres and styles, as well as with modern stage dancers.
Wadaiko YosaYosa is a group that has been using traditional Japanese drums for many years. It is a drumming show that, with respect for tradition, creates a space to awaken new strength in both people and nature.
The program will take place even in unfavorable weather, in the case of rain, outdoor production will be moved in.
