Wind is blowing through the courtyard of the Žďár Museum Court, along with Groupe ZUR from France. Their audiovisual choreography researches the four natural elements. But take care the wind doesn’t blow you away!
When the wind dies down and darkness begins to fall, the hunters and gatherers meet. Together, they lead the audience from one end of the country to the other to harvest the Sirocco, Foehn, Mistral and Alizé winds. As the first image is projected, everyone allows themselves to drift where the wind takes them. Wind takes the leading role in this exploration, with aural, visual and physical elements transitioning from one emotion to another in a joyful, sensual and furious dance. Invisible but omnipresent, the wind makes thoughts fly, taking on different forms and material shapes.

GROUPE ZUR is a multidisciplinary collective whose works have been touring across France and abroad for forty years. Their unique installations and performances can be staged both indoors and out. Using moving images and various projection media, they create images and sculptures, always exploring the relationship between canvas and screen, painting and cinema, gesture and sound. ZUR’s work transcends the borders of artistic disciplines, devising intersections between image and action, writing and speech, silence and sound, straight lines and curves, distance and proximity and mixes cinematic dance with theatre and sound.
