Pavla Beranová started her career as a lighting designer at the Archa theater and then devoted herself to lighting performances for the 420people dance troupe. Her talent soon brought her to Belgium, where she created light installations for major events, scenographic festivals and galleries, including the Prague City Gallery and the National Museum. She teaches at JAMU in Brno and DAMU in Prague.
Camilla Monga and Federica Furlani: Passage | Paysages
The choreographic duet of two women uniquely set into an outdoor space responds to the uniqueness of the Castle surroundings. Passage/Paysage brings a unique dance experience in two acts.
In the first act, Passage, you will walk together with the performers through a narrow corridor in which two women meet in an intense duet. The dancers, who are constantly disturbed by a low frequency rhythm and specific sounds, try to cross each other's paths. Their attempts to meet creates a fascinating tension and draw the viewer into an unpredictable world. In the second act, Paysage, repetition becomes a means of transformation. The dancers' bodies change into their alter egos, which then connect with others and the natural environment as well. Experience a fascinating play of bodies and rhythms, which will draw you into a world of constant transformation and connection.
