Markéta Stránská: LeŤ

This solo dance performance shows how each and every divergence offers enriching opportunities and unique possibilities. Aerowaves Twenty20 has ranked FLY! (LeŤ!) among the twenty most interesting dance performances in Europe.

Every impediment is a wake-up call for our creativity, playfulness and imagination. With her embodied experience of life with one leg, one prosthetic leg and two crutches, Markéta Stránská offers a visceral experience that will not be forgotten. FLY! is an unconventional and inspiring performance, which has toured across the Czech Republic and abroad. Now Žďár audiences will have the chance to see the performance back in the location where Markéta Stránská started to bring it to life during an artist’s residency.
